GSA Hong Kong has been established as GSA's second team in China. Soichiro Tsuruta is a soccer coach working in Hong Kong on the HKSSC program, sponsored by the Japan Football Association (JFA), that aims to build bridges between the 2 regions, and he will take on the role of Team Captain for GSA Hong Kong.
According to Soichiro, "Through my work here in Hong Kong that focuses on teaching soccer to kids and holding workshops for adult coaches, I want to call on people to protect the environment."
"Also, as a representative of the HK Japan socccer team, 'J-Leagers', I'd like to spread Ecoplay among all the Japanese teams that have been set up across Asia and fly the Ecoflag at a special yearly competition." He added.
