The 7th Conference on Sport and Environment took place in Beijing from 25-28 October, organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee (BOCOG).
400 participants took part, including the representatives of National Olympic Committees (NOCs), international sports federations, UN Agencies and NPOs, under a motto of 'from plans to action'.
GSA's Executive Director, Tatsuo Okada, was at the conference as a panelist, taking part in a session on 27 October, where he explained GSA's activities to promote the concept of fair play and EcoPlay.
