GSA's 30th team worldwide and tenth in Japan has been established on the island of Miyako, in Japan's southern region of Okinawa.
GSA Miyako becomes the 30th GSA Team established worldwide, and the tenth team to be set up in Japan. Takuya Sunagawa, Director of the Miyako Junior Chamber, will act as Captain of the team that will be based in the Miyako branch of Taragawa KK.
GSA Miyako will be working to promote environmental awareness and action through the Ecoflag Movement, under the slogan "Harnessing Miyako's beautiful nature!"
